Decorator and home stager in Nashville, TN
working most recently in East Nashville, Green Hills,
Forest Hills, Belmont-Hillsboro,
Hillsboro-West End and Brentwood.
After decades of renovations, decorating multiple homes
and project management, Kristi has the tools and style
to assist with a myriad of home services.
Kristi was born in Bloomington, Indiana, to a West Point-graduate, Army-officer father and a scientifically minded mother, so she believes that her organizational, editing and thought-processing skills come naturally. Before happily settling in Nashville 20 years ago, she lived in Ohio, Connecticut, Illinois, upstate New York and Sydney, Australia. Kristi collects butterflies as her paternal grandmother did, and wears her grandmother’s jewelry every day. A passionate traveler, she has visited many towns in France, including Paris; Hong Kong, China; Fiji; Hawaii; and over 20 U.S. states. Following the footsteps of her paternal grandparents and all her aunts, Kristi went down a professional path in education.
Kristi says that she has always been a habitual re-arranger of furniture, endlessly changing the decor of her childhood bedroom, her current home — and every residence of her six moves in between! Over the years, Kristi and her husband Viktor have purchased and renovated five as-is properties, including their current turn-of-the-century Victorian Nashville residence. Kristi’s passion for decorating, organizing and making a home comfortable and personal — with a flash of the humorous and unexpected — always shines through. Additionally, Kristi’s experience with owning, styling and managing two Airbnbs, as well as a client’s property, has been pivotal for further honing her design and organization skills and ultimately devoting more focus to these passions.
Since 2008, Kristi has been volunteering with Glendale Elementary as co-chair of the wildly popular Glendale Getdown fundraiser and as room parent and classroom helper. She is driven to serve the community, exemplified by her past work with Nashville Children’s Theatre, Student Behavior Intervention and Nashville Public Radio campaign support.
Kristi relishes downtime spent with her family, her husband Viktor’s music, summer travel with their children (especially to beaches and lakes), visiting with dear friends, meeting creative people, dressing up, vintage purses and book club. She also takes walks at Radnor Lake and other beautiful Nashville parks whenever possible; attempts crafts such as sewing, crocheting and knitting; spends time in the kitchen of her 1905 home baking and cooking; and shop at flea markets and consignment and antique stores. Somehow, Kristi still has endless energy for perusing Houzz, Pinterest and Everything But the House (EBTH).
